Artist’s Statement:
There is an adaptive humor, a love of nature, and a longing for connection at the center of my soul. This is what I attempt to express in my work. The essential joy at the heart of me is also at the heart of my work. My goal is to celebrate and explore possibility as I create. The whimsical delight in starting with nothing and observing how the pieces of tossed-away nature or man-made ‘bits’ come together—enjoying the process, creating a life—guides my hands and my fertile imaginings. The intention through all of my work is to connect with others in that soulful place filled with colors and hues, texture, delight, awe, whimsy, and wonder. There is a magical place where possibility is more than a dream. I intend to find it. Wanna come along?
